At EarthPeople Media, sustainability begins at home
In 2005, Anna Clark had her first child and began to wonder, “What kind of world am I giving to my children?” She set out to discover if one person could make a difference. Following her passion for conservation, she launched EarthPeople, LLC. Building her practice from her Dallas home – one of the first residences in Texas to earn a Platinum LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council – Anna grew her consultancy into EarthPeople Media, an internationally-recognized specialized communications firm.
In 2014, EarthPeople Media launched a publishing support division to promote sustainability and social innovation to a wider audience. The extended platform includes the EPM Knowledge Exchange, a global community of practice and source of independent journalism for a better world. Today, EarthPeople Media serves start-ups, Fortune 500 corporations, and NGOs including International Finance Corporation, a division of The World Bank. Using a collaborative model, the firm continues to evolve to meet the demands of the emerging sustainability market.
In Fall 2016, EarthPeople Media will re-locate to 1808, a space for early stage businesses to create, collaborate and accelerate ideas. The LEED Gold building will include the GoodWork! Co-working community, work suites, an art gallery/event space and other amenities to help entrepreneurs and professionals work collaboratively and productively for maximum effectiveness and innovation.
